Energetic and filled with positivity, Erick is a soothing presence. He tries his best to not impose himself on others, preferring to stay out of the spotlight. He is compassionate and goes out of his way to help others when they're in need.

Jimmy's parents told him that Voice Acting would never pan out.

When he was young, he excelled in his studies. From a quiet suburban home with an accountant father and nurse mother, he lived comfortably and was told that as long as he applied himself, he could achieve anything he wanted. He decided that he wanted to be a Voice Actor, and there was nothing that could stop him.

Nothing, save for rejection. He applied, he auditioned, and he never got a call back. For several years he trained and spent his time going to various lessons and "boot camps" to learn how to manipulate his voice and he practiced with many talents- but ultimately, life isn't fair and not all hard work pays off.

Devastated, he found himself with no healthy coping mechanism for rejection. He returned home defeated. His parents were as supportive as they could be. His mother offered to put him through community college to find a real career, but he wanted no part of it. If this was the human experience, if failure was so common, so easy, he never wanted to face it again.

So, he resigned himself to the life of a shut in, and he traded basic household chores and labors for the ability to remain in his parents' house, until one day he got an Email. Hopeful that it was a call back for one of his many auditions, Jimmy hurriedly opened it- only to find the downloader for a game client, a program called Terrasphere. He'd heard of that-- the game that they cautioned people not to download, or to play. But it was just a game, right?

An alternate reality, where he could be anything he wanted to be, and not have to live by the rules of this world?

Why, that was just the kind of thing he'd been looking for.

Fractured Fate
You messed with time and now your consciousness is split into multiple realities. After you roll a non-combat die, you may roll again to briefly experience an alternate outcome. It is difficult to stay in the moment whenever you enter these trances. During those times, reality eludes you.

The relationship between the three of these constitutes the basis for all life. Creation, Preservation, and at times of necessity, destruction. Erick began his journey in Terrasphere an apprentice in the field of Temporal studies, and as time marched forward, he learned among the gravest of lessons.

Power necessitates responsibility.

Through the manipulation of time (Chronomancy) he is able to enhance the rate at which objects move or age, or slow it all the way to a standstill. He has also proven capable of glimpsing other realities.

His skill in Astromancy affords him the ability to manipulate gravity, allows him limited control of starlight and the movements of cosmic matter, and when combined with Chronomancy, more honed and effective future sight.

The addition of Divine Magic further enhances his control over light, drawing on both Sun and Moon, as well as other sometimes unexpected sources to empower his spellcasting. Most recently, an Oath to Tyldr rendered him able to harness a fraction of Divine power. He actively seeks the favor and blessings of such powers to protect others.

With Guard Arts, his desire to protect is manifested. Whether in the form of barriers, reflective magic, or sharpened senses about the motives of others, he has turned himself into a Sentinel. When combined with Chronomancy he can create pockets where time loops or stands still, and with Astramancy, he can even create a space outside of reality where objects or enemies (or anyone, really) can be suspended for a time. He is also able to use these powers defensively, creating areas of sanctuary or comfort.

Weapon Arts allows him to manifest the powers of his magic. He can evoke Divine Magic to cut a blazing swath through the darkness with a reflection of Holy Fire, or draw the mass of a dying star in hand to bring the weight of a world down upon his enemies with Astramancy.
