Elf Darkness

Found 8/16/2008 at Central hospital (main) in Shibuya, Japan on the steps to the main door nobody exactly knows who left her there. One of the Patients, a United states soldier on leave being the first to notice the small baby and ended up adopting her and taking Kaede back to the united states. From there most of Kaede's life was spent with babysitters, her father only back every few months for a week or two.

While growing up Kaede showed great ability when it came to learning and her studies, even in her earliest memories and school years she stayed as one of the top student in her classes along with her childhood friend Athea. The two always seemed to stay in their own group, despite both having been popular topic for other students they never made friends outside those they met online. But when High school came into the picture the two started getting a small rift between them.

Athea enjoyed more social party life, while Kaede chose to stay alone. They both still played games and attended the same school and advanced classes but seemed nothing alike to others. It was around their last year in high-school and first year of collage that the two became roommates and discovered Terrasphere. Since then if Kaede was not lost in her studies or spending her few times with her father it was the most common place to find Kaede.

After Third Death

Having lost the ability to return, Kaede rapidly sank into depression and her drinking grew worse. Sure she was able to escape the weight of her real world issues but lost many things she treasured. This dark gap in her life took over most the early two years and into the third, most days blending into drunk haze or fighting in hopes maybe to end it and regain or truly lose it all. But that mostly ended when she met a fellow UI locked player by the name of 'Harmony'.

At first the two got along like water and oil, always clashing about anything and despite many efforts getting stuck together for extended amounts of time. It was not until they had been trapped that they got time to bond and discovered they both lost a lot and simply chose to look at things differently. Kaede found out Harmony lost far more then her and this led to a sense of respect someone could lose so much but stay above the raging ocean of suffering.

They from that point on bonded while held captive until Harmony's untimely end at the hands of their captors. The final moments still ringing in Kaede's mind how she was asked to carry on and smile like Harmony had, for the sake of both of them. Not long after Kaede was saved by other UI locked and simply said she would pay them back when they needed it before going to properly put Harmony to rest having found out four deaths was their limit and her friend was now gone.

Since that day, Kaede has not touched a drink, kept herself focused on other things, and overall living life as peaceful and blissful as she can. Sure she still has time she slips, Bad habits that got worse to cover for the now sober life. Though, with each day and visit to Harmony's grave Kaede smiles and tries to fight the darkness that loams in her heart. Not just for Harmony's sake but her own.
