Personality

When he was a child Thomas, was very kind and adventurous, influenced heavily by his three older brothers. Originally he desired to emulate them and become similar, especially like his eldest brother who held more of a mysterious characteristic about himself. As Thomas became older he found himself, a bit closed off from others. Lacking in social skills like his peers, somewhat arrogant, and unreasonable but devoted like his eldest brother. His best friend—Takashi Yamato, the complete opposite of Thomas, two met when playing sports in college. Tho Thomas hates to admit it, Takashi had a huge impact on his life, as a freshman, he learned to soften up and, be more relaxed and calm when talking to people.

In the world—his player id is referred to as Crow, a mysterious figure with no real ambition or concern for the world. He comes and goes as he wishes without anyone stopping him. Crow comes off as a myth more than a person; non-existent. The character in theory is to mimics his older brother's character traits while maintaining his own kindness from when he was a child. Thus, when playing Crow he uses the hidden name "Lee" as his avatar's name to hide the fact that his real character name is Crow, a soft-spoken, kind heart, devious, mysterious, and selfish character. But under the name Lee, he is simply kind and helpful to other players.

Positive: Kind Heart, Devotted, Ambition
Negative: Selfish, Mysterious, Devious

Background

When he was a child—Thomas's family often moved around a lot so he wasn't able to make friends like normal children. Instead, his friends ended up being his older brothers, because they were all 2-3 years apart from one another. They'd always caused trouble for their parents by getting into all sorts of trouble. When Thomas turned 7 his family moved to South Korea, where his father an American was stationed. His first time in Korea but for his brothers, it was the third time. Thomas barely knew Korean and often struggle in school and grade school. By the time he was a teenager his father had finally completed his term and was able to retire from his work as an army man.

In school, he was devoted to sports and excelled at almost every sport he played. Following his brothers, he was ambitious and determined to be the best till he tore a muscle that placed him on bed rest for the rest of the season. Because of this, Thomas fell into a bit of depression from not being able to play sports. As his grades started to decline so did his morals and love for sports and school. He'd find himself staring out the window, what felt like six months of bed rest, felt like an eternal nightmare to him. His mother would bring him comics, and video games to explore and play when he wouldn't come out of his room for days on end.

He'd heard about a new VR game coming out and wanted to try it. To his shock, his brother had already been playing the game for some time so using his equipment wasn't an issue. To be frankly playing such a game wasn't easy for him at first he hated it. He didn't understand the concept and refused to touch Vr headsets/gaming again.

Sometime after—his 21st birthday, Thomas moved to Japan to study for university, his roommate Takashi Yamato, loved Vr games, he would constantly be up all night playing. At times Thomas would worry about his roommate who had such a relaxed personality. Then one night as he was aimlessly scrolling through his phone while sitting in the bathroom, a strange message appeared on his phone, with a link. As hard as he tried to clear the screen/turn off his phone. He couldn't, he was forced to click the link in bright blue writing. A few days later, someone dropped off a Vr headset and equipment on his doorstep. Thomas recall what the message had said, he was somewhat thrilled but at the same time, he wonder if this is the world Yamato had escaped to. He was eager to find out, and thus the character Crow was born.
