Personality
For as much as she seems to enjoy the company of friends, she isn't a very open person, and doesn't talk much about herself.
In-game, she's a bit more openly warm - she finds the medium of interacting online, through personas, much easier to be relaxed in. She...might still be a bit private, though.
Positive: Adventurous, Amicable, Helpful
Negative: Cagey, Distant, Stubborn
Background
April was raised by her grandparents, having been 'adopted' due to her parents untimely deaths shortly after her birth. Her upbringing was not without familial care thanks to this, but knowing that she never got to meet her parents did always make her life seem slightly emptier. Her parents had had no other children, and her mother, who was her grandmother's daughter, was also an only child, so her only true connections were to her grandparents.
Her main fortune in this is that it went both ways, as her grandparents had nobody else to care for following her parents' death, and their healthy amount of secure wealth was able to afford her a comfortable life free of want. By all accounts, her life was peaceful - but unexciting. She enjoyed a successful school life, with a respectable record, and a small group of friends that grew gradually as she advanced through the years, but her interests seemed to have little to do with them, as she spent many days off either wandering around town, looking for places she hadn't been before, or going on deep dives on the web, learning and discovering things about whatever random topics she could find - historical, theoretical, and...at times, conspiratorial.
And as such her life continued on its leisurely pace, though as she grew older she was 'cared for' less by her ever aging grandparents, whose healths were declining with the passing of the days. By her final year of public schooling, she wasn't quite sure what to do with her future. It certainly didn't help her planning when her grandfather passed away that year, nor when her grandmother followed a few months later. She finished her schooling still in the midst of grieving.
Deciding that she still needed to continue the path she was set on, she used her wealthy grandparents inheritance - which she was, 'fortunately', the sole recipient of - to continue to college. Hoping to discover a concrete path in life while there, she started out in general education with electives scattered about...but in only a few months, she lost the drive for it. Feeling listless and without any aims, she dropped and put her newfound wealth into something else...traveling.
So she spent her days, practically fresh out of high school, wandering the country, bus to bus, train to train, hotel to hotel. She started a travel blog/vlog to make a bit of money on the side, but the income was inconsequential.
But then of course, one day did she stumble upon this...'Terrasphere'. From all she could see, the strange game was a total mystery. It seemed exploring it would be interesting - learning and discovering more about it could be fascinating. Or, it could be a perfect time waster.
