Personality
Rosario's imposing, sometimes intimidating presence, isn't all for naught. He is a direct man, but not one who would do away with pleasantries and formalities. A certain amount of hospitality and decorum is expected, and delivered. That being said, he is not the kind of man who will beat around the bush, and is relentless in achieving his goals. Quick to get to the point, he has little patience for people who talk more than they can listen.
Despite this, he can have a charming personality when he chooses to enjoy himself. Bearing himself with a kind of confidence and charisma that draws others to him. Never the kind to attach himself though, Rosario's circle of friends is small, and those trusted, even smaller.
What most probably wouldn't expect from the man, based on his appearance and demeanor, is that he is incredibly charitable. Its not uncommon to see the man working in homeless shelters and soup kitchens at various points throughout a week.
In game, Ansaldo is roughly the same as he is out of game. To the point, but courteous. Charismatic when he chooses, but otherwise has no patience for others. Utterly ruthless in combat, yet just as likely to be seen tossing beggars more than a few coins on the streets.

Background
The son of an American Don, Rosario had no interest in joining the family, a fact his father was surprisingly appreciative of. Putting Rosario through college, the boy studied harder than any one else in his major, believing that if his father was truly open to the possibility of him leaving the life of organized crime behind, he should honor that wish wholeheartedly, given that it was their shared dream. Graduating with a double major in finance and accounting, he went on to get a Masters in accounting.
Rosario kept his family's business a secret whilst working as a financial analyst, and later, as a financial manager. Making enough money to live comfortably without the help of his father, Rosario lives quietly, despite the expensive clothing and car. He prefers serving meals at homeless shelters on the weekends, over another one night stand. On the rare occasion he has the urge to go out to a bar or one of the never-ending parties in the city though, he is almost certain to go home with a woman on his arm, who he'll forget about within a week. He visits his father several times a year for holidays, and a couple more times throughout the year, just to spend time with his old man.
All in all, Rosario lives a good life. He wants for nothing, and can find something that interests him easily enough that he is rarely bored. That being said, when the ad for Terrasphere appeared on his TV late one night, he found himself intrigued. He'd heard about the game, years ago, and how it was banned by the VRSA before disappearing altogether. Now that it was back, well, perhaps it was a bit of the man's criminal blood at work, but the man couldn't resist the lure of finding out just what this game was all about, and where it had gone for the last four years. There was only one way to find out.
