Personality
Ritsu was born as a prodigy into a rural area, and thus was given a special treatment for being special. He can be cocky at times, but is usually calm as he was taught manners by his parents. They're important. Being able to see a situation thoroughly gave him the ability to be decisive and made it through with any circumstances.
As he grew up, he met his match when working in a university. Before moving here, everything was easy as he only needed to deal with elementary level knowledge, but in university, everything is a lot more challenging with his environment not allowing him to be flexible. The built up pressure changed him a bit into being easier to explode or argue with the littlest thing. This in turn made him a bit difficult in making friends.

Background
Standing high above his below-average peers is Ritsu. He was born into a rural area where it is not uncommon to find someone who doesn't know basic elementary knowledge, but that is due to how remote the area is. Such knowledge are not really needed, and rather one need to know how to make something from the Earth they have been given. Despite this, schools still exist, despite scarce. In this school, Ritsu's academically-apt self was quickly found and he worked through and pulled himself out of the rural and into a university in Tokyo both as a student and an assistant researcher.
However, despite being considered a genius back in his hometown, Ritsu find himself struggling to keep with his fellow researchers due to them being seniors and won't wait around. This put quite some stress on his head and would rather to have an outlet for his built up stress. A safe outlet. One night, he found an unsigned email in his inbox. As the saying goes, ask and you shall receive. His adventures in TerraSphere begin when he put on the VR set and logged in.
